WPI Gain of 11.3% Outpaces CPI Gain of 9.1%--Inflation on the Rise

 

On the inflation’s one two punch the 9.1 % CPI increase  yesterday was number one
Today we were hit with punch number two to show inflation increase is nowhere done
The Wholesale Price Index increased by 11.3 percent
Portending further increases in July retailers cannot prevent
Already we have seen the size packages on the shelves shrink
But prices remain partially the same to avoid a wave of red ink
This poet may be more like a stuck record, but Blues refuse to hear
To lower the costs of good to reduce transportation costs more fuel must appear|
Not from tankers from faraway places like Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E.
But here at home with lower transportation costs and lack of political instability
Oil is oil, but domestic oil is cleaner and climate change impact
But Biden held hostage by the likes of AOC domestic production continues to attack
Inflation most economists agree is caused by too much money chasing too few goods
Yet as Schumer planning another Build Back America clone that fact is not understood
No matter how reduced is Schumer’s Build Back America Bill
WPI If passed our chances to curtail inflation will be killed
