Aping Jonah and the Whale with a Lobster fisherman and a Humpback Whale

 

Jonah was swallowed by a big fish and after three days was spit out
A theological prediction of what would happen after the crucifixion for the faithful there can be no doubt
But today a lobster fisherman crossed paths with a hump back whale
Into his mouth not swallowed but diving and then surfacing to live to tell his tale
Completely enclosed in the whale’s mouth but too big to swallow
His chance of survival still being somewhat hollow
But able to breath with a scuba tank, knowing the stomach did not await
Knowing he did not have three days of air to share Jonah’s fate
On the surface with the fisherman banging on this mouth with all strength he could muster
Hoping the whale would be irritated enough to use a spit out now thruster
And aping the Biblical treatment of Jonah he did
In seconds a human in his mouth he rid
Has to be a more than a million in one chance
So the surviving lobster fisherman will be back in the water to his income advance
