While a “rules for thee but not for me” Newsom sent his kids to private school
On public education he was and is of the Teachers’ Unions a puppet tool
Too many small businesses shut down never again to reappear
Rules for us beneath him and he would not adhere
Across what once was the “Golden State”
Waves of homeless increasing that will not abate
Voters may disagree with a governor’s policies but if likeability he lacks
Good chance they will try to him from office sack
Clearly many voters view him as not one of us
With lockdowns and shutdowns throwing mere mortals under the bus
His arrogance and ego are by none surpassed
His French Laundry soiree leaves us all aghast
He and his attack ads against Elder are hitting the campaign trail
Since Elder is black any attempt to use the race card against him will fail
Grasping at straws he claims Elder is to the right of Trump
Recall supporters with antiVaxers and Capitol rioters he tries to lump
Newsom has helped to change the “Golden State” to one of iron pyrite
A Newsom gone and Elder in will make things again right
