NYC Violent Crimes Still Out of Control with New Mayor Not Making a Dent

 

Any thought that with a new NYC mayor was a former NYPD captain NYC might curtail crime has been led to rest

Amelia Laguerre, a health care worker for Northwell Hell was fatally shot in its parking garage and as of yet no arrests

The safety Apple in the Big Apple is rotten to its core

People are not safe in the subways, leaving work, walking in the streets in broad daylight

Either targeted to be robbed or caught between two drug dealers gunfight

A police force decimated by retirements and resignation and with D.A.'s morale killing policy

Arrested booked and released without bail before paperwork is done to continue law breaking spree

Legislators who pass no bail laws and D.A.'s who fail to prosecute have security and are free from attack

The mere mortals live in fear that a loved one leaving for work or school will not in one piece be coming back
The shooter has not been arrested and if that occurs here is a bet you can take to the bank
He or she will be black like Amelia which is how most shootings in Blue run urban cities rank
The Kerner Report bemoaned the existence of two nations one black and one white
In reality there may be two but the classification is not quite right
There are two nations in our cities the Haves and the Have Nots
The Haves guarded by security and the others too often getting shot!
