Officer Porter’s trial ended in a mistrial and Officers Nero, Goodson and White
were acquitted
And on July 17, 2016 all the remaining three officers discharge of crimes
benefited
The feds refused to prosecute and her rising star was out luck
Remained in office for 2 terms when straying from the law her struck
Claimed financial hardship during COVID while receiving full salary to from her
pension withdraw
$90,000 of funds to buy Florida properties and in lying on her financials for mortgages
broke the law
Charged in 2022 with perjury and filing false mortgage applications by the feds
Her reelection chances in the primary were quickly shed
If convicted 5 years for perjury and up to 30 years for false mortgage apps
Her defense team has just all resigned and the Public Defender stepping up to
replace the legal gap
Mosby now scheduled to go on trial November 1
As a poster child for the premise that lawyers especially, the truth should not
shun
