In a Rare Show of Unity the House Voted 419-0 to Condemn the Lying Chinese For Their Intrusion into Our Airspace

 

In our Congress where partisanship and gridlock seems to be the common rule
Never underestimate the ability of Congress to foreign adversaries fool
China has come out with a whopper of a lie
An attempt to the spying efforts of the spy balloon deny
The spying machine payload evidently is fairly intact
A chance for the U.S. to expose their lies of a weather balloon going off track
Show the world that when the Chinese are caught
Their reflex is to lie, again and again for the distraction they have sought
The House in a historic vote 419-0 condemned their intrusion into our airspace
Good unity theater for a change but will not alter Chinese lying with a straight face
A vote of 419-0 is somewhat unique
After Pearl Harbor and a Declaration of War against Japan FDR moved to seek
The vote to declare war against Japan in the House was not 389 to zip
It was 388-1 as pacifist Jeannette Rankin could not let a yes vote cross her lips
Might be time for the Pentagon to on the foreign object in Alaskan skies
We quickly shot down into the ice covered waters and ground
To reveal to the public from whence it came
Warn that any more objects entering our air space will go down in flames
