Biden Makes a Surprise Visit to Ukraine and Poland Promising Additional Aid

 

As we near the one year anniversary of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine
Biden ignoring our open borders and in East Palestine a massive derailment of a toxic materials laden train
Made a surprise trip to Kviv in Ukraine
After informing Russians 2 hours before to they didn’t try to shoot down his plane?
Zelensky has been warning that a new offensive by Russia would begin soon
And without more weapons Ukraine disasters would loom
Still smarting for his refusal to start before the invasion the weapons flow
That would have been more effective than promise of sanctions if into Ukraine Russia would go
And the daily photos of miles of Russian tanks enroute to Kviv in a single file halted
Would have been slaughtered if from the air with U.S. planes had been assaulted
Has promised more billions in addition to the M-1’s, Leopards and Challenger 2’s  on their way
Which despite typical Biden stalling may not arrive before Russia’s new offensive day
With China supposedly assisting Russia militarily in addition to buying huge quantities sanctioned Russian oil
This war has all the threats of a war now simmering will outside the pot confines boil
One aspect of this war that really needs to come to an end seems very clear
A negotiated peace will need more Russian deaths to make the cost in Russian lives too dear
