Kari Lake Refusing to Stand for Black "National Anthem" Is a Cry to Revive the Melting Pot Mantra

Whether you believe it’s  one nation under God
Or with no God but divided into many is flawed
You can respect a black “national anthem” by not talking
But not standing or hand over heart should not be condemned as balking
If we are expected to for other races be expected to stand
The already chasm of divisiveness will further get out of hand
She was sitting quietly with no outward sign of displeasure
To stand in respect is not how unity we should try to measure
Other than American natives we are a nation of immigrants
Who came here to escape tyranny or a chance for a better life to advance
We are supposed to be the melting pot
Not isolated by race to wallow in hate and rot
The divisiveness has become so bad is Kari Lake on social media has a hero brand
When what is needed is a revival of the lasting idea we are all Americans to be the mantra across the land.
