Once again too many times we suffer from the need to check
the diversity box
And as a result we suffer from not meritocracy but the mediocrity pox
Our Secretary of Transportation known in South Bend as Mayor
Pete
Only positive claim to fame or accomplishment is to fix the
pot holes on his street
When it comes to competence Pete Buttigieg
Is a prime example of scrapping the bottom of the barrel for dregs
Like watching a runner on a sprint or long distance running on one leg
On our hands and knees for competence we kneel to beg
On a day when a train derailment in Ohio sent massive toxic
clouds into the sky
Mayor Pete’s response in urban areas white workers are taking construction jobs
to decry
From taking paternity leave with container ships blocked
from unloading at docks as far as the eyes could see
To an air traffic system of cancelled flights for mere mortals while he was
flying private jets not meant for you and me
When check the box diversity is what paces Woke infected hires
Any chance of competence we need to have the job done well expires
This totally inept diversity pick needs to have his term end
Pack his bags and send him along with his same sex spouse to
South Bend
