February 21, 2023 Ridley's Believe It Or Not

As Ron De Santis chances as a possible candidate one of the failed Trump backed supporters in the disappeared Red Wave, Sarah Palin who lost has come out saying he does not have to and should not run (the issue Reds should really fear is that the non MAGA voters should fear is that opposition to  Trump on the ballot will be a lightning rod that will overcome Biden’s advance cognitive disabilities and the Reds and the down ballot Reds will lose. Lori Lightweight must be fearing an upcoming loss as she blurted out that anyone that does vote for her should sit he election out only run back the statement, saying she misspoke and all voters in Chicago should go to the polls. The second person son of legal Indian immigrants who is a very successful and wealthy entrepreneurs, Republican Vivek Ramaswamy, has announced his candidacy for president with a bold move of announcing he would do away with affirmative action if elected. Belt tightening may be in order in California as the state has gone from a near $100 billion surplus to a some $30 billion surplus. Biden has visited Ukraine and Poland affirming the support of America of Ukraine and NATO (hopefully the increase in NATO budgets due to Trump’s hectoring and Putin’s rash invasion move will continue). I hope you find Ridley's Believe It Or Not worth your time reading and if not please respond with an “Unsubscribe” in the message.

          Noted Holidays: Mardi Gras:
Celebrating the street party of all street parties with parades and masked balls especially in the Big Easy, New Orleans culminating the next day of Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent.            Word of the Day:  The word of the day is “agyiophobia” which means a fear of crossing busy streets which is a good fear to have especially in sanctuary cities with hit and run drivers often being illegals and even with cross walks clearly marked unless also bordered by flashing lights means a pedestrian is putting his or her life at a grave risk.
Number 1 Song: The number 1 song on this day in 1952 was “Cry” by Johnnie Ray and the Four Lads on a run of 10 weeks to share with 10 other songs that achieved number one status. Here is Johnnie Ray with The Four Lads performing  “Cry”:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iob-_shdLQ0
