Across the nation the thin Blue line we rely upon to serve
and protect
Is getting thinner every day as overworked, understaffed and unappreciated cops
retirement and resignation elect
Who in their right mind would want a job where the mayor and council did not
have your back
And Blues in the Swamp and across the nation want cops to qualified immunity
lack
A split second decision to use force and live
In a society that almost any use of force on men of color will not forgive
From when you call 911 you’re on hold or are told to wait
When felons are arrested released on no cash bail to their criminal thirst sate
More and more crimes that used to put a person in jail to his future crimes curtail
Now either misdemeanors that D.A.’s won’t prosecute or become citations instead
of jail
When a NYC off duty cop answers an ad to buy a used car
Instead shot clinging to his life pretty clear we have gone too far
Thugs are not smashing and grabbing for necessities to live
If so many of us might want to help or
at least forgive
No, crimes made easier with less cops and more soft on crime legislators and
Soros financed D.A.’s
Destroy the 2nd Amendment through curbs and our safety goes away
