The Windy City voters are sighing a relief
Now longer will Lori Lighfoot’s war against the CPD mean less crime relief
After voting today she came in third
As voters a chance to be in the runoffs refused on her to have conferred
Ridiculed for her aping pizza delivery pitch
Throughout her reign public safety thrown into the ditch
Like Nero playing his fiddle as Rome was burning to the ground
She was on the air for a Chicago Karaoke contest making the rounds
Realizing her reelection was in serious doubt
Called Time cover racist when it showed her predecessor but kept her out
Further desperation when she aped Madeline Albright
Who intoned special place in Hell for women who didn’t vote for HRC to win her
election fight
Also stated that if you didn’t vote for her you should stay
home
And finally if you opposed her you did because she was a black woman and for
your racism you had to vote for her to atone
People came out and voted against her not because she was black or female
But when it came to public safety on violent crime she totally failed
Lori Lightfoot’s political tenure will soon be through
But with only Vallas and Johnson in the runoff, sadly Chicago will remain Blue
