It looks like in Memphis racism is color blind
The 5 black ex-cops arrested for beating Nichols are again being maligned
3 days prior to the beating these same Scorpion Unit 5 Memphis cops
Pulled Monterrious Harris, a black medically discharged Army vet,
and were beating him nonstop
The noise of the beating and his screams caused residents of an apartment
building near
To coming to the commotion start to appear
Have not seen any body cams videos of the beating or Harris’ activities that
sparked the act
So withhold any judgment or justification of the attacks
But there is a good chance but for the apartment dwellers Harris would not survive
But why were these 5 not put on administrative leave so Tyre Nichols would
still be alive
The public needs to know whether this was an isolated case of 5 rotten apples
Or evidence of racism coupled with excessive force the entire Memphis PD will
have to tackle.
