When it comes to the crime wave in Chicago, Blue leaders have
had their heads in the sand
911 calls by shop owners are answered not in minutes or seconds
by hold or slow movements of the hour hand
Now a Blue genius state Rep has come up with the solution to solve the police
lack
Thaddeus Jones has just introduced the Armed Protection Security Act
To require businesses like banks, grocery stores, gas stations and pawn shops starting
in July
To have at least one armed guard on the premises during operating hours to
criminal activity defy
These businesses are already paying some of the highest tax
rates in the nation
The bill is silent whether added expense is a tax credit salvation
Or whether jewelry stores, high clothing and apparel stores will be added to
the list
Likely because thieves are prone to ape Willie Sutton to rob where the armed
guards don’t exist
The bill ignores the reality police forces have not the
ability to adequate numbers of cops enlist
In a patrol car in the streets each minute a cop is not driving with the bullseye
on your head
In a store a target for robbery the thieves will not be smash and grab but
heavily armed to shoot the guard dead
Will these guards like cops in the use of firearms be well
trained?
Will they have like cops qualified immunity if in split second decisions they
kill or maim?
Charter schools may be the rising trend
To lack of education of urban minorities bring to an end
This bill could mean the arming of most residents to conceal or open carry
The end of policing in poor neighborhoods and the convenience of longer retail
hours bury
Better idea is to focus criminal reform on the victims
When the violent criminals are caught no bail and if convicted for long times
in cells stick them
