Mixing sports with politics and to the game I am not coming back
MLB was seduced by BLM on the Georgia election law
Their claim of voter suppression was fatally flawed
All Star Game was from Atlanta to Denver moved
Spineless act to the false outrage of the BLM soothe
Was supposed to be honoring Hank Aaron who ended his career as an Atlanta Brave
He passed last year and now seeing this must be rolling in his grave
Most fans when they pay outrageous prices to attend a game live
Do not want the most recent PC boycott attempts to be revived
Players in all professional sports don’t lose their free speech rights
But exercised at place of employment seems more like an unwanted blight
They should if they so desire picket with signs outside the venue doors
But once suited up and indoors and ready to play, time to observe no more
Atlanta is about 50 percent black and Denver fairly lily white
Losing $100 million in All Star revenue during CV pandemic is in no way right
Politics and sports do not mix and PC induced boycotts are a despised trend
Before fans bail by the millions it is time for such mixing and boycotts to end!
