FBI In Clinton Probe In New Phase

The FBI investigation is slowly but surely entering a new phase
Slowly but surely they are navigating through twists and turns of the Clinton deception maze
If Pagliano was an astute man who his back he wanted to protect
The whole idea of a private email server must have made him suspect
He must have known that the emails on that server would be and then were being sought
No wonder he took the 5th with great fear he would be caught
A smart man would have made a copy of all the files before the server was wiped clean
To avoid an obstruction of justice charge which would not take much to have foreseen
So far not a word whether the FBI has been able to any or all of the wiped clean emails recover
If they have, an additional ticking time bomb for Hillary and Bill will be the quid pro quo Foundation corruption they would uncover
Reading carefully Clinton Cash the inference is obviously clear
The private email server was set up to conceal the quid pro quo and speaking fees to Bill and contributions to the Foundation steer
The Clintons have around so many scandals skated they must feel immune
Always playing that now very old “it’s a right wing conspiracy tune.”
Gruber’s views notwithstanding Americans are not stupid and could hardly believe
That companies and governments  acted out of the goodness of their hearts while favors from State they were seeking to achieve
If Sanders wins in Wisconsin and upsets in New York or loses by a margin so slim
Sensing a failed bid, good chance Obama will throw her to the FBI wolves and then campaign for a Sanders legacy preserving win

Emory President Reject Students' PC Demands On Trump--Hoorah!!!

The PC tidal wave is sweeping the college campuses of this nation to academic detriment
Do not agree with the left and the PC police will quickly stifle any to their ideas dissent
An all out war is being waged on freedom of expression
Right down to the need to ban “micro aggression.”
We are created a generation not of men and women who can in the future this nation lead
But rather a nation of thin skinned citizens that the slightest of disagreement will cause their bodies to bleed
You may disagree as this poet does with ideas of Donald Trump
An hope that the Reds get their act together and his candidacy dump
But a Trump 2016 in chalk is not a racist or misogynist slogan or a call to arms
To somehow track down the minorities an bring them physical, mental or emotional harm
The students at Emory who like sheep flocked the Office of the President
demanding counseling and that the perpetrators to sensitivity training be sent
Are prime examples of the PC closed minds
Unable to enter a discussion on the merit of ideas only to squelch and the speaker malign
The president of Emory instead of caving into these thin skinned, overly sensitive fools
Wrote on the sidewalks “Emory believes in free expression,” highlighting one of learning’s most effective tools
Although we humans are not lobsters or crabs who must molt in order to be able to grow
If we are to expand our knowledge and solve problems we must open and use the mind God on us chose to bestow

Six Year Girl Taken From Home Because Of 1/64 Choctaw

Another example of bungling government overreach to the detriment of a young child
Another example of a government running amok, running wild
Lexi a six year old girl has lived with her foster parents for over 4 years
Thanks to California Child Services she was pulled from her foster parents screaming and in tears
Lexi was taken at age 17 months age from her parents due to parental acts of substance and  crime
And his lived in the home of her foster parents with their three kids
From that loving environment of a husband and wife who want to adopt Child Services want to rid
Lexi is 1/64 Choctaw which means her father is 1/32 Choctaw
Somehow under the Indian Child Welfare Act she is caught in a well meaning but here a disastrous law
Have no idea where in Utah this pawn uprooted from a loving home will be sent
Only that at 1/64 she is no more an Indian than the Puritans and the judges who ruled should get down and repent
Only silver lining in this seizure with to Lexi and the foster family an unforgivable amount of distress
Unlike in the case of Elian Gonzales the state agents were not pointing guns to further the stress
It seems like only yesterday when in 1999 14 refugees desperate to escape from Castro’s living hell
Boarded a small boat to attempt the 90 but ocean trip but to be overtaken by rising ocean swells
The boat started taking water, the engine died and three miles or so from Florida the boat sank and all but three drowned
Elian Gonzales at age five was one of the lucky ones to survive clinging to an inner tube when the boat went down
His relatives in Miami refused to Elian to Cuba return
He had already lost his mother and sending him back to Castro’s communist island gave them great concern
The courts decided only his father could an asylum petition file
Ordering him sent back to his home in Cuba erstwhile
Relatives refused and after some negotiations with passions rising and intense
Janet Reno ordered the fed SWAT team heavily armed on the offense
Elian was taken by force and thankfully no one was shot
But look at the terror in the young child’s face looking at a pointed assault rifle held by a fed SWAT

Three First Graders Suspended For Plotting To Kill Classmate

The news out of an Anchorage area charter school really questions some parents’ parenting skills
It seems three school girls were plotting to a fellow classmate kill
Not with gun, club or knife
But silica gel would be used to take the student’s life
Fortunately, the three did not know that silica gel is not poisonous and would not kill
Even if the victim somehow ate the silica gel their deadly plot would not be fulfilled
Even more fortunate they must have spoken louder than in whispers because another classmate overheard
And immediately went to a teacher with such  news of the plot and with that teacher conferred
The police were called in and the students were suspended while the school is determining whether this was not a prank but a plot
If yes then these parents have completely failed their duties as parents to insure morality and proper behavior was being taught
These three girls were not hardened gang members in their late  teens but all in the first grade
How at such a young tender age could the basic rules of humanity could these girls be moved to have betrayed?

March 31, 2016 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Cesar Chavez Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March 31, 2016. Only 295 days to go in President Obama’s pathetic lame duck term but fortunately March Madness is in full swing for both men and women and the Pac 12 has two teams in the Women’s Final Four. Great political theater as Trump admits that if abortion becomes illegal women should be punished, a statement which he walked back faster than Carl Lewis sprinting the 100 meters and Clinton appears to be dodging Sanders’ request for a debate prior to New York primary as Sanders now leads Clinton in Wisconsin and for the first time in decades the California primary might count for both Reds and Blues. As always, I hope  you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Perry Como, factoids of interest, a  relevant quote from Cesar Chavez while looking forward to a large plate of clams on the half shell, blessed with a positive attitude and  secure in  the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like birthdays, weddings, or  anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem  at a great price  tailored to the event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.
1. Cesar Chavez Daycelebrating the contributions of Cesar Chavez, born on this day in 1927, to the civil rights movement and the improvement of the pay and working conditions for the farm workers who harvest the food for our table; the day is an official state holiday in six states and has been celebrated in California since 1995.
2. International Day Of Transgender Visibility—observed since 2009 to celebrate transgenders and to create awareness of the discrimination faced by transgenders in their daily lives.
3. 1957 Number One Song—celebrating the number one song in 19576 on a brief run of one week in that position Round and Round by Perry Como. Here is a link to Perry Como performing Round and Round: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UCM-cb9hwc.
4. National Clams on the Half Shell Day—celebrating a great way to enjoy a tasty mollusk served chilled and raw with pinch of horseradish, lime juice and seafood cocktail sauce or to be adventurous baked or grilled on the barbecue with your favorite herbs and spices.
5. Brevity Sharpens the Mind—celebrating the birthday on this day in 1972 of Evan Williams the cofounder of Twitter that only allows messages of 140 characters and whose stock unfortunately is still down over 50 percent from its IPO price.
On this day in:
a. 1774 in another step closer to the Revolutionary War Great Britain closed the port of Boston pursuant to the Boston Port Act—needless to say the Bostonians and most Americans were not pleased.
b. 1854 Commodore Mathew Perry signed the Convention of Kanagawa with the Japanese government opening up the ports of Shimoda and Hakadate to American trade.
c. 1889 the Eiffel Tower, that iconic symbol of Paris, was officially opened.
d. 1951 Remington Rand delivered the world’s first commercial computer, the UNIVAC1, to the Census Bureau. UNIVAC1 weighed 29,000 pounds and used 5200 vacuum tubes and probably had less computing power than is found in today’s lap tops.
e. 1998 Netscape released the source code for Mozilla under and open source license.
Reflections on why Cesar Chavez is honored on this day: “It is possible to become discouraged about the injustice we see everywhere. But God did not promise us that the world would be humane and just. He gives us the gift of life and allows us to choose the way we will use our limited time on earth. It is an awesome opportunity.” Cesar Chavez, co-founder of the United Farm Workers It seems like only yesterday in the mid sixties that students at places like Stanford to protest the meager wages and deplorable working conditions were boycotting table grapes

Trump Needs to Follow Ed Rollins Advice

Ed Rollins has just issued above a very thought bit of advice to Donald Trump
One would hope that Trump reads it and acts on it while on the stump
Apologies to Heidi Cruz would be for any real man a good place to start
Ditto to Fields and Kelly while the negative insults a vow from those he will depart
If not, the voters, especially women, are going to his candidacy dump
Either Hillary or Sanders will run over him like a truck not hindered by a speed bump
Wisconsin will mark sanity’s and reason’s last stand
The last hope that saner heads will his march to oblivion withstand
The voters need to listen to their governor and follow his lead
Ere in the fall the presidency will be lost and from the Senate and House large numbers will out bleed
Unfortunately for the Reds, Rollins advice although perfectly sound will be ignored
Dismissed with the messenger quickly shown to the exit door
For a simple reason that the advice did not come from Donald Trump
So it will be quickly tossed and thrown into the trash dump
Talking about punishing women for abortions at Wisconsin town hall
Is a guarantee that even if she is indicted, Hillary will trounce the Donald in the fall
Last Chance in Wisconsin for the future of this nation and the Reds
Stop Trump there or its 4 more Obama like years and three Supremes, a chilling prospect we all should dread

Trump Calls For Punishment Of Women Who Have An Abortion?

There is a new pied piper in town who other than Make America Great Again
Too many times he opens his mouth causes the Reds a great deal of pain
The controversy over his campaign manager and Michelle Fields still creating lots of negative ink
Yet not to let the pot cool, Trump talks about abortions which should among women cause his standing to further sink
Headlines that Sanders or Hillary against him in the fall will use to devastating effect
Adding to the growing number of women who his candidacy will certainly reject
At a town hall meeting hosted by Anderson Cooper of CNN
He took a position on abortion that makes you wonder whether he really wants to win.
On an issue that tears people apart he thought that if Roe v Wade is overturned
If states then outlaw abortions, punishment for an abortion a woman would earn
When it comes to dealing with the press and issues his great dealmaking skills seem to have disappeared
No wonder a landslide against with the Senate and maybe the House lost is now a major Red fear
Maybe if the news media decided he has received his quota of free air time
Such that he would have to start spending his own dollars and dimes
If his standings in the polls begin to drop
His race for the White House might stop
The Pied Piper of Hamlin piped the rats out of town and when the town fathers for his piping did not pay
To get revenge he then piped all the children out of town to follow him as he merrily piped away
Substitute voters, Red Senators, and Red Congressman for rats and the White House and Capitol  for the town
Nice poetic simile for a party with Trump as its nominee whose election chances are going down

Eat Roots From A 290 pound Obese Kim Jong Un

“Let them eat cake,” Marie Antoinette was supposed to have said
During the French Revolution she and her husband lost their heads
Rulers of starving subjects who practice a lifestyle most lavish
Too often fail to accept that such lifestyle is most calvish
In North Korea the people are starving and the new sanctions will make it worse
As more and more money for weapons keeps coming from the government’s meager purse
New photos of Kim Jong Un
Show a man who overeating does not shun
Close to 300 pounds on a five foot nine inch frame
Body riddled with gout, hobbles along with a cane
While he stuffs himself with food, he urges his people to eat roots
Wonder if there are any generals who will Kim Jong Un shoot
You cannot get blood out of a turnip nor can a regime expect to survive
When the arduous march of starvation will cause millions to lose their lives
If ever there was a case for a South Korean or Chinese special ops force
It is against him to accelerate his death before a heart attack, stroke or diabetes takes its expected course

NC AG Cooper Should Be Impeached And Disbarred

Once again we have a case of an elected official holding himself above the law
The Attorney General of the State of North Carolina believes recent legislation is flawed
He sworn in to the duties of his office uphold
One of which is to defend the laws or so I have been told
One can argue that preventing local jurisdictions from passing anti-discrimination laws against transgenders, lesbians and gays
Is a bad idea, foolish, will harm the state and hope that with legal action that legislation will be swept away
As predicted gay rights advocates filed suit to the law overturn
The AG Cooper is refusing to defend the state while his salary he will continue to earn
The AG Cooper is also refusing to resign which would show the courage of his convictions
As a lawyer he should know he has the obligation to defend his client the State without restriction
Cooper should be immediately impeached and out of office thrown
As an AG he does not have the right what cases against the State he will disown
The State Bar of North Carolina should against him disbarment proceedings commence
For failing to provide to his client a proper and vigorous defense

March 30, 2016 Ridley's Believe It Or Not National Doctors Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March 30, 2016. Only 296 days to go in President Obama’s pathetic lame duck term but fortunately March Madness is in full swing for both men and women and the Pac 12 has two teams in the Women’s Final Four. Great political theater as the Red candidates are backing off pledge to support the nominee and Clinton appears to be dodging Sanders’ request for a debate prior to New York primary and for the first time in decades the California primary might count for both Reds and Blues/ As always, I hope  you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, music links to Les Baxter and Celine Dion, factoids of interest, a  relevant quote from Doctor Jim Lee while looking forward to a large bowl of turkey neck soup, blessed with a positive attitude and  secure in  the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like birthdays, weddings, or  anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem  at a great price  tailored to the event and the recipient. 1. National Doctors Daycelebrating the contributions of doctors to our health especially those just graduating from medical schools burdened with astronomical debt and facing a hostile reimbursement environment created by insurance companies, Obamacare and relentless cutbacks in Medicare reimbursements.
2. National Pencil Day—celebrating the issuance of a U.S. Patent on this day in 1858 for a wooden pencil—where would golfers be without it, especially one with an eraser.
3. 1956 Number One Song—celebrating the number one song in 1956 on a run of four weeks in that position The Poor People Of Paris by Les Baxter. Here is a link to Les Baxter performing The Poor People Of Paris:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkYWXAN_W5g No vocals but a catchy tune although might have been hard to dance to.
4. National Turkey Neck Soup Day—celebrating a great soup that realistically should be celebrated the Friday following Thanksgiving.
5. My Heart Will Go On In Eight Languages—celebrating the birthday on this day in 1968 of iconic singer Celine Dion who has an incredible voice that has resulted in over 200 million records being sold and who also sings in 8 different languages. She is noted for singing the theme song for the movie Titanic. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2bcxw2_titanic-theme-song-my-heart-will-go-on-celine-dion-hd_music
On this day in:
a. 1842 ether was used for the first time in a surgery performed by Dr. Crawford Long who used it to successfully remove a tumor from the neck of a patient—can you possibly imagine how painful it would have been to be opened up and operated on while fully awake?
b. 1867 in the bargain of all times, Alaska was purchased from Russia for the bargain basement price of $7.2 million which is the value of 9 hours of oil flowing through the Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
c. 1964 Jeopardy! hosted by Art Fleming aired for the first time on TV; the program is still going strong.
d. 1981 President Ronald Reagan was shot in the chest in Washington, D.C. by David Hinckley; he came very close to dying and some feel that the trauma was a factor in his developing Alzheimer’s disease later in his life.
e. 2016 French President Hollande announced that he was dropping his plans to amend the Constitution to strip French citizenship of dual citizenship citizens convicted of terrorist acts.
Reflections on becoming a doctor: “The downside to becoming a doctor, I think, is it's a very long process; four years of medical school, three years of internship, two years of residency, umpteen years of specialization, and then finally you get to be what you have trained almost all your life for.” Jim Lee, M.D. affiliated with Kaiser Permanente and the co-creator of Doctor Online.

#Trump 2016 Racist At Scripps--What Waste Of 50k

Minjoo Kim as the student body president of Scripps
Is obviously completely trapped in the closed mind PC grip
This woman perhaps like almost all enjoying an over 50 grand tuition trip
Is incapable of hearing any discussion of ideas non left and must those discussions be worthy of censorship
Worse she and the Mexican-American student unnamed who called the police of Scripps
Over a #Trump 2016 as being racist must have their sense of reality and academic freedom totally slipped
A campaign sign is not racism, a closed mind to any ideas that do not comport with a PC line
Is the true racism and ideology that completely rots and destroys a student’s mind
Don’t call a sign racism as it like the shepherd who cried wolf and demeans and trivializes true racists’ acts
If Kim and this student had any academic abilities in an open forum they should Trump’s ideas debate and attack
Kim with her email claiming the sign proves racism is at Scripps alive and well
Is a claim that only a complete fool could try to sell
Trying to keep our borders from drugs, terrorists and illegals secure is not a racist position
Nor is a view that illegals here, especially criminals, should be deported is not an act meriting contrition
50 grand paid for an education that a Trump campaign slogan renders someone totally useless and afraid
The parents of the students at Scripps should be howling for a refund of the outrageous tuition paid!

Time to Dump Trump Ere Reds Go Down In Flames

Only a narcissist of the utmost degree like Trump could with a straight sincere face
“I could shoot someone in Times Square and it would not hurt my standing in this race”
In Wisconsin, hopefully, we may see the ebbing of the Trump surge
As more and more women and party leaders want to from this nomination purge
Trump’s temperament and ability to listen to and heed advice
Appear to be lacking and his narcissism and ego are a major vice
In Florida we witnessed on tape those major character flaws
We heard perhaps the sound of a camel’s back breaking from a final straw
His campaign manager grabbed a reporter and pulled her back
Almost immediately he and Trump went on a trademark vicious personal attack
A complete denial, never met her, never touched her, this woman is delusional to her core
A glimpse of what if we are unfortunate to have him elected would be for us in store
Like Obama whose ego cannot let the term radical Islam ever leave his lips
Trump cannot admit to being wrong or apologize being trapped in his monstrous ego’s grip
Add to that,  his penchant for being a bombastic bully and always used to getting his way
From the White House in the fall voters must hold him at bay
After viewing a video that Trump insisted did not exist
The police charged the campaign manager with battery in yet another campaign twist
Women both Red and Blue have made it very clear
No way will they vote for Trump in this election year
If the Reds do not come to their senses and stop Trump
Hillary or Sanders win and Red control of Senate the voters will dump

Michelle Obama Is The First Nanny With A Fining Fork

With each day we take more steps to become an oppressive nanny state
Schools now face federal fines based on what their students for lunch ate
Michelle Obama the First Nanny continues to parents and schools berate
With her photo op White House garden her desire to control our diet is a craving she cannot sate
Another unelected federal bureaucracy on Monday proposed new rules
If a lunch program failed to pass muster, fines would be imposed on that school
Limits on sodium and calories and the banning of white grains
Our children are not nutritional wards of a growing Nanny State
The First Nanny does not have the right to determine the contents of what is on their plates
The federal government under Obama is on a relentless path to intrude, its power never wanes
No wonder on the Red side it is the day of the outsider as angry voters are saying in a loud and growing voice “Enough!”
“Feds take your nanny-like oppressive regs and into the toilet stuff!”
Schools should close their cafeterias and let the students bring in their own lunches to eat
Guarantee there will be a lot less waste, especially when a parent packs in a surprise treat
If parents cannot afford the cost of food to a lunch pack and need a free lunch for their kids the fed dollars provide
Whatever dollars for food a school receives give it to the parents as food stamps along with a nutrition guide
Think of the money we will save with fed employees being given pinks
With the schools not having the feds over their shoulders they can concentrate on the task of teaching kids the skills to learn and think!

March 29, 2016 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Vietnam Veterans Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For March 29, 2016. Only 297 days to go in President Obama’s pathetic lame duck term but fortunately March Madness is in full swing for both men and women and the Pac 12 has two teams in the Women’s Final Four. As always, I hope  you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Bill Hayes by wearing your coonskin hat, factoids of interest, a  relevant quote from Zach Wamp while looking forward to a large slice of lemon chiffon cake, blessed with a positive attitude and  secure in  the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like birthdays, weddings, or  anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem  at a great price  tailored to the event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.
1. Vietnam Veterans Daycreated by one of the best things Obama has done by Presidential Proclamation in 2012, an observance to commemorate the sacrifice and service of all of those men and women who served in the most divisive war this country has ever fought; God bless each and every one of those vets who returned in the later years not to parades but protests and scorn.
2. National Mom and Pops Business Day—celebrating the foundation of our economy and the largest job creator in this nation; today shun the big retailers and shop in a small business.
3. 1955 Number One Song—celebrating the number one song in 1955 on a run of five weeks in that position The Ballad of Davy Crocket by Bill Hayes. Here is a link to Bill Hayes performing The Ballad of Davy Crocket: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1KYpizprfI If you listen to it, it is clear that America in the 50’s was a far different place for fans of music.
4. National Lemon Chiffon Cake Day—celebrating a cake invented by an insurance salesman Harry Baker who sold the cake first to the Brown Derby in the 20’s and later the recipe 20 years later to General Mills for an undisclosed amount; a light and airy cake because of the use of vegetable oil instead of butter.
5. Kingfisher’s Hero Day—celebrating the birthday on this day in 1902 of Sam Walton, born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma and who moved on to establish Wal-Mart, the largest brick and mortar retailer in the U.S.
On this day in:
a. 1806 construction of the Cumberland Road, the first federal highway which was to start at Cumberland, Maryland and link the Ohio and Potomac Rivers and traverse 620 miles, was authorized. In typical federal government slowness, construction did not begin until 1811 and the road reached its terminus at Wheeling, West Virginia in 1818.
b. 1936 Adolf Hitler received 99 percent of the votes of the German people in favor of reoccupying the Rhineland in violation of the Versailles Treaty emboldening him for future aggressive acts and France and Great Britain stood idly by.
c. 1951 Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were convicted of passing information on how to build an atomic bomb to the Soviet Union which was able to construct its own atomic bomb much sooner with the information. Both were executed on June 19, 1953.
d. 1999 the Dow Jones Average driven by the dot.com bubble crossed 10,000 for the first time only to collapse less than a year later when the bubble burst.
e. 2004 in what has to rank as one of Ireland’s finest moments, Ireland banned smoking in all workplaces including pubs—what smokers can’t seem to fathom as they puff away to an early death or disability is that second hand smoke kills and maims also.
Reflections on Vietnam War Veterans: “Thank you for the sacrifices you and your families are making. Our Vietnam Veterans have taught us that no matter what are positions may be on policy, as Americans and patriots, we must support all of our soldiers with our thoughts and our prayers.” Zach Wamp, 8 term former Republican Congressman from Tennessee
