After Being Crushed By LSU in First Game, Canaday Shuts Out LSU 3-0 and 8-0 To Advance To College World Series Against Texas on Thursday

“First we'll use Spahn
Then we'll use Sain
Then an off day
followed by rain.
Back will come Spahn
Followed by Sain
And then followed
We hope
By two days of rain”
Today in women’s college softball NiJaree Canady pitched in all three games
Shelled for 3 runs by LSU before first out to go down 11-1 in flames
Game back in Game 2 to pitch a complete game shutting down LSU 3-0
Stanford fans got what they came to see from their pitching hero
In game 3 with Canady was back in the circle to the LSU bats stifle
LSU had a chance with the bases loaded and only one out but a caught fly ball and runner cut down by a throw out from an arm rifle
After dodging that bullet the Cardinal exploded for 7 runs
Followed in the next inning by a solo home run and the game was done
Canady may be the equivalent of Spahn and Sain
And even if the Sun is shining still like a day of rest caused by rain
