The massive wildfires raging in Canada have
made the skyline in NYC looking worse that smog filled skies of the Los Angeles
Basin in the late 50’s and 60’s so bad that lack of visibility has prompted the
FAA to close La Guardia to incoming airliners as the air quality is rapidly
approaching hazardous warnings. AOC was quick to capitalize on the wildfires in
Canada and the record temperatures in Puerto Rico to push for quick adoption of
her New New Green New Deal (which most
Americans would have less objections if two of the largest carbon emitters,
India and China joined in which they most likely will not). The Freedom Caucus
of the Reds in ramping up their objections to the passed Debt Ceiling bill seem
hell bent to act like lemmings driving themselves over the cliff to destruction
as opposed to focusing on increasing House seats, taking control of the Senate
and sending Biden and the Word Salad Queen into retirement. In another example of
what Reds castigate as 2 systems of justice as Cedric Richmond former adviser
to Biden and now a senior adviser to the DNC crashed into a tree in New Orleans
and when the officers arrived they apparently knew who he was but despite
slurring his words and being disoriented did not test him for DUI. Kate
Middleton aka Princess of Wales who took over from Prince Harry being patron of
the Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League in England was seen on a
rugby field with the Maidenhead Rugby Club Prince
Harry was being cross examined in his lawsuit against the Mirror Group for
illegally snooping on his private life. Biden after proposing regulations that
would effectively preclude new gas ovens and stoves has set his sights on doing
the same for gas furnaces (when does Congress act to weigh in on this
regulatory overreach?). Feces City has just received another negative vote due
to the crime and drug use in its streets as one of the largest REITs announced
the closure of two of the major hotels in downtown Feces City as T-Mobile
closed its 17,000 square foot store in Union Square (such a shame as this once
beautiful City on the Bay is destroying itself with self inflicted policy
wounds). Former Mike Pence announced he has entered the race for the Red nomination
for president while as Biden’s approval ratings drop, his planned bunker
campaign is gearing up to avoid any debates with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (as
Kamala Harris’s approval ratings drop such that a vote for Biden is really a
vote for her given the very realistic chance he will die in office or
increasing dementia will force his removal under the 25th Amendment
which Reds will certainly remind voters each day of the 24 campaign).

Noted Holidays: Global Running Day: First celebrated here on the first Wednesday in June
in 2009 which then morphed into Global Running Day in 2016 with millions of
runners going online to pledge to run 5
kilometers. Running is a healthy way to get in shape and loss weight except today
in the Northeast where the pollution from the Canadian wildfires would be very
difficult to run in or even being outside walking from one’s car to shop in a store.
Word
of the Day: the word
of the day is “antimnemonic” which means damaging the memory which
describes what dementia does and what we see too often watching Biden.
Song of the Day:
The number 1 song on this day in 1970 was “Everything is Beautiful” by
Ray Stevens on a run of 2 weeks to share with 24 other songs achieving number 1
ranking, while 14 acts, including Ray Stevens and George Harrison who was the
first Beatle after their break up to in solo, achieved number one status for
the first time. Here is a music video of Ray Stevens performing “Everything
Is Beautiful”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a45z_HG3WU

Famous Quotes: Carrie Nation on hearing voices
that told he to go to Kiowa: “The next morning I was awakened by a voice which seemed to me
speaking in my heart, these words, "GO TO KIOWA," and my
hands were lifted and thrown down and the words, "I'LL STAND BY YOU."
The words, "Go to Kiowa," were spoken in a murmuring, musical tone,
low and soft, but "I'll stand by you," was very clear, positive and
emphatic. I was impressed with a great inspiration, the interpretation was very
plain, it was this: "Take something in your hands, and throw at these
places in Kiowa and smash them."
