A Quinnipiac Poll taken
after Trump’s indictment shows a statistical dead heat with Biden leading Trump
by 48% to 44% which is prompting speculation that a close race between two
“undesireables” could lead to a third party candidate. In the U.S. Open,
Wyndham Clark was the beneficiary of the adage, the third time is the charm as
after in his prior 2 U.S. Opens, he was cut, but ended up today winning the
U.S. Open beating Rory McIlory by 1 stroke. Amateur Gordon Sargeant was the low
amateur in the U.S. Open but will be best rememberered for having his short
putt for par being rejected due to a defective cup on 18 which resulted in the
cup being repaired so following golfers would not have their putts similarly
affected. An Ecaudorian woman who startled those attending her wake, when she
woke up and started banging on her coffin and was taken immediately to the
hospital has died after 7 days with this time a very real observation. On the
Trump legal front, the former president has a win as the Weschester D.A.
investigating whether Trump had undervalued one of his golf courses has closed
her 2 year investigation after finding no criminal activity. Biden has been
claiming that LBGTQ’s members are expelled more often from dining
establishments than non LBGTQ’s members which PolitiFact has factchecked to
find as accurate “but needs clarification” not relying on any data of
discrimination but only the data that 22 states lack statutes banning
discrimination based on gender identification. Biden has consistently stated to
the American public that he has never discussed with Hunter his business
dealings yet a record log for him shows 3 days after Biden’s threat to withhold
$1 billion in aid to Ukraine if Ukraine does not fire a prosecutor
investigating Burisma, Hunter and several Burisma executives were attending a
Biden Christmas party. Our military forces are failing to meet enlistment
goals which do not bode well for our safety in an increasingly dangerous world
and as might be expected, Army brass is blaming conservatives for attacking
alleged Woke in the military and the conservatives are claiming the adoption of
Woke measures make recruitment less desirable you thought that the creed of
police departments was to protect and serve only humans, in the case of the
Upper Wakefield Township in Pennsylvania you would be wrong as several officers
from its PD spent some 90 minutes rescuing 6 ducklings in a drainpipe to return
them to their flock. In the College World Series at Omaha, Number 8 Stanford
after leading the game until the 8th inning and a 1 hour and 28
minute weather delay lost to Wake Forest 3-2 and will meet 1 loss Tennessee in
an elimination game on Tuesday with their ace Quintin Mathews on the mound-go
Stanford!
