Across the nation following the death of George Floyd due to
Derek Chauvin’s knee on his neck
Protests morphed quickly into burning and looting riots that law and order and
safety rioters chose to reject
In Seattle protestors took over the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest
zone (“CHOP”)
Daily violent protests to among other goals defund the cops
Mayor Durkan on National TV proclaimed the protests to be
like the “Summer of Love”
Only the vultures of violent crime waiting to pounce impossible to find any
doves
Antonio Mays, Jr. aged 16 and wanting to Floyd’s death peacefully
protest
Bought the “Summer of Love” pitch only to shot by “CHOP Cops” to be laid to
eternal rest
His father is suing Seattle and the Evergreen State for the
death of his son
For ceding the area to the rioters as soon as the riots had begun
We in his lawsuit seeking justice wish him the best
Glaring example of results when anarchy disguised as protests
is not subject to arrest
If the defendants ape an earlier settlement of $3.65 million
to business owners in CHOP
They should also admit guilt, seek forgiveness and vow to bring future BLM
inspired riots to a quick stop
