I was junior in Coeur A’ Lane High School on November 22,
1963 and learned of the shooting of JFK
With a RN for a mother I knew that certain death for him was
on its way
On June 5, 1968 at the KA House at Stanford watching RFK to announce
that he had against McCarthy the California primary won
After congratulating Don Drysdale for setting the MLB record
of 58 2/3 innings without a run
He left the podium at the Ambassador Hotel to meet Sirhan
Sirhan with his gun
And when he soon died after being shot I like millions more grieved
that Camelot was done
RK, Jr. was 14 at the time and flew out to be with his
father before he died
Was a pall bearer at his funeral and later fought heroin
addiction for 14 years while he tried
To kick the habit and become clean and sober which he
finally had success
After several failed political attempts he launched his Blue
presidential quest
The Blue elite was convinced that Biden would be successful
and voters would for him a second term
select
To then pull out all the stops to insure there would be no
debates so voters his quest would reject
Forcing him to run as an independent which would be steep
uphill fight
Today it looks like he and his running mate will toss in the
towel and call it a night
He is now considering endorsing Trump and Vance
Which would severely hinder Harris’ and Walz’s to the White
House advance
His policies differ greatly from Trump’s in many areas but
his anger over Blues against him stacking the deck
Could be enough to seek revenge and ask his supporters to on
their ballots Trump and Vance select
Never a dull moment with new challenges appearing each day
As Harris finds it more difficult to hide from the press,
his endorsement might accelerate some of her supporters fading away
