The Harris campaign is trying to thread a needle whose opening
gets smaller each day
On one hand is the growing number of anti-Israeli protestors
outraged over the numbers of Gazans that the IDF with air attacks slay
Who have been demanding a ceasefire to end the bloodshed
Of the growing number of Gazans wounded or dead
As the war enters month number ten
The demands intensify to a strident now as opposed to when
Lost in the ceasefire demands the anti-Israeli protestors
forget
Israel facing Hamas and Hezbollah is facing an existential
threat
The hostages who may be still alive have been reduced to
acceptable collateral damage
Their being released detrimental to Hamas’ efforts to its continual
survival manage
The protestors have upped the ante and are now demanding
more
They want an arms embargo of Israel so requests for more
arms the U.S. ignores
Harris has been warned that if she does not comply
Their votes for her they will deny
On the other hand is the vast number of Jews who Israel support
Who with their vote and donations will insure an
anti-Israeli candidate will come up short
A politician’s greatest fear as Bowman and Bush went down to
primary defeats
And Omar due to pro-Israeli votes and donations may in her
primary lose her seat
The jury is out on Harris’ ability to walk that very narrow tightrope
As her snub of Shapiro in place of baggage laden Walz shows
against pro-Palestinian protests cannot cope
