Harris Merits an "F" For Calling For Food Price Controls But At Least She Has Confirmed She Is a Radical Leftist Not a Rebranded Moderate

 

Harris looking at polls must be thinking she’s headed for a coronation like win
So time to end the she’s a moderate not radical MSM aided rebranding spin
She unveiled her economic plan which has as one of its main goals
To implement at the federal level on supermarkets price controls
Oblivious to the fact that higher food prices are not a gouging result
Which if she had taken the time with economists consult
That inflation of food prices at the checkout cashier
Is the result of the massive increase in federal spending that has appeared
Net pretax profits at supermarkets in 2023 were a meager 2.2 percent
Reduced to 1.6 after payments to the taxing authorities were sent
Making enough profits to be able to survive  is a challenge that tries CEO’s souls
Which because of very low margins would be disastrous with ill-advise price controls
Shoppers would be faced with fewer stores, less hours and reduced items on the shelves to buy
Longer lines due to staff cutbacks and with staff forced do more with less from them more stress and outcry
The only positive comment on her plan for price controls
Is that she’s confirmed she is a radical and will pursue her radical leftist goals
And shoppers will feel like they have been back to the Soviet Union transported
Of mostly empty shelves stocked with high margin brands and inflation not aborted
