The negotiations for a ceasefire in the Hamas Israeli War
are proceeding at a snail’s pace
The leader of Hamas Yahya Sinwar
after seeing his predecessor Ismail Haniyeh killed by Israelis in Tehran wants
guarantees of his personal safety in place
The hostages are Hamas’ only bargaining chips
If released
for a 6 week ceasefire Sinwar fears that at its end he’ll be on a one Paradise
trip
This leader
feels it’s okay for thousands of Palestinians to be sacrificed with their lives
But he is so
critical to standing up to Israel that he must survive
While the
Palestinians in Gaza live in abject squalor and poverty
Hamas leaders
live in Qatar in a life style like pampered royalty
If peace is
ever to be found the lyrics by the Palestinians need to be altered
Or their quest
for peace and prosperity will sadly forever falter
“Palestinians
from the river to the sea
If freed from
the tyranny of Hamas will be free
