On the
MSM biased news reporting, CBS lived up this moniker of “Consistently Biased
System with its interview of V.P. Harris when she asked her: “You're 58 now. If
you win the second term, as you and the president are running to do, he would
be 86 at the end of it. And we are seeing Republican candidates hone in on
you, in particular, as the next up for that job. Nikki Haley ‘a vote for Joe
Biden is a vote for President Harris.’ Chris Christie, 'I want to be clear that
I pray every night for Joe Biden's good health, not only because he's our
president, but because of who our vice president is.' Ron DeSantis, 'Harris is
Biden's impeachment insurance. People know if she were president, batter the
doors. As bad as Biden did, it would get worse.' How do you respond to all of
that?" Every word in bold was sent to the cutting floor as views saw
Harris’ face then a question of whether she would be able to take over which
she of course said yes.
On the political front, Nancy
Pelosi, age 83, has announced that she will run for another term to preserve among
other things “San Francisco values” (feces, urine, homelessness, drug use,
soaring crime ???) but if her constituents are foolish enough to elect this
aging relic at least she will be only a mere 1 of 435 and no ranking member committee
positions.
On the be careful what you wish for
front, Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party leader Shivanthi Sathanandan who
has been a rabid Defund the Police proponent in Minneapolis became a victim of
a carjacking and was beaten in front of her small infants suffering a broken
leg and is now a pro police law and order proponent.
On the teachers union hypocrisy
front, the head of the Chicago Teachers Union Davis Gates who is black has raged
against school choice, charter schools and private schools has enrolled her son
in a private school (do as I say not as I do, ok for me but not for you).
On the transgender front our very
Blue California State Assembly has just passed a resolution making August
starting in 2024 as Transgender History
Month.
On the federal regulation front, Senator Manchin
continues to be the thorn of reality in Biden’s Green New Deal side forcing
Biden to pull eff Marootian's name from consideration to lead the Department of
Energy's (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), which
crafts appliance regulations and standards and who was believe to be on the
warpath to impose highly costly standards in the name of climate change.
On the free speech front, Harvard’s banners say “Veritas” which means ‘truth”
which is what free speech will find but at Harvard despite the banner, the
Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression a nonprofit that promotes free
speech and religious freedom gave Harvard a rating of “abysmal” for its speech
environment at 0.00 which was generous as it should have been in negative
numbers.
On the weather front Hurricane Lee’s
movement has slowed and it growth to CAT 5 has dissipated with most predictions
indicating it will swing north and not make landfall in the U.S. but only move
parallel to the East Coast slowly veering away into cooler waters of the
Atlantic.
On the illegal alien surge, the 5th
Circuit has stayed the TRO of a District Court Judge in Hawaii requiring Texas
to remove the floating barrier in the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass. As Biden is
floating a plan to keep the thousands upon thousands of illegals in Texas,
Governor Abbott has warned he will ramp up the number of buses sending illegals
north including to Washington, D.C.

Quote on reflections on the
series Star Trek by William Shatner in a Moulson Commercial July 21,
2007: “I'm not a Starfleet commander, or T. J. Hooker.
I don't live on Starship NCC-170... [some audience members say "1"],
or own a phaser. I don't know anybody named Bones, Sulu, or Spock [picture of
Dr. Benjamin Spock is shown on screen behind him]. And no, I've never had green
alien sex, but I'm sure it'd be quite an evening. [Pomp and Circumstance begins
playing.] I speak English and French, not Klingon! I drink Labatt's, not
Romulan Ale! And when someone says to me 'live long and prosper', I seriously
mean it when I say, 'get a life'. My doctor's name is not McCoy, it's Ginsberg
[nude picture of Dr. Ginsberg shown on screen]. And tribbles were puppets, not
real animals. PUPPETS! And when I speak, I never, ever talk like Every. Word.
Is. Its. Own. Sentence. I live in California, but I was raised in Montreal. And
I believe in Priceline.com, where you never have to pay full price for airline
tickets, hotels, and car rentals! I've appeared on stage at Stratford, at
Carnegie Hall, Albert Hall, and the Monkland Theatre in NDG. And, yes, I've
gone where no man has gone before, but... I was in Mexico and her father gave
me permission! My name is William Shatner, and I am Canadian!”
