Itidarod Standings on March 13, 2022 14:35:34 It is still a 2
man race with both Sass and Seavey out of Shajtoolik, 221 miles away from Nome
with Sass with an 1 hour 46 minute lead with Burmeister and Diehl out of
Unalakleet, 261 miles out of Nome, 3 mushers including Mille Porsild in 7th
place still there and a thundering herd of 15 mushers having left Kaltag, 346
miles out of Nome, led by Michelle Phillips in 8th, Mitch Seavey,
the 61 year old father of Dallas, in 13th place, followed by Anna
and Kristy Berington in 20th and 21st , and Hanna Lyrek
in 22nd as the leading female rookie and last one currently on the trail
out of Kaltag, leaving Deke Naaktgeboren the only musher left until the pack
out of Nulato arrives or he mushes on the trail. 4 mushers have left Nulato,
393 miles outside of Nome, including the leading male rookie Martin Massicotte
in 25th place and barely ahead of rookie Amanda Otto who is in 28
place and still in Nulato. Lisbet Norris is still in the lead for the Red
Lantern and no musher has joined the 4 who have dropped out. Check blog later
