Delta in News as a Passenger Attacks a Flight Attendant and Male Passengers Intervene and Wheel Chair Passenger Threaten with TSA Removal For Not Moving Until Wheel Chair from Baggage Brought to the Gate

 

Delta Airlines is again in the spotlight it does not want to be in
If “Keep on Climbing” means adversity publicity new passengers it will not win
After thoroughly ridiculed for violating dram shop laws in the airServing a passenger at least 10 Vodkas and a glass of wine drunk beyond compareWho was sexually abusing a teenage girl and mom in his seat row
After returning from the bathroom with smells of puking to show
Flight attendants did nothing and did not call ahead to police on land
So the guilty one was able to depart and away from arrest ran
The spotlight today is on a flight in which a flight attendant was attacked
But this time 8 male passengers courage did not lack
Subdued him and held him down
Alcohol suspected and was arrested on the ground
The second news involved a passenger confined to a wheel chair
But not deterred a travel writer who has visited continents 7 despite a spinal disease that is hard to bear
Has his 400 lb. wheel chair checked as baggage at the gate
Transferred to a chair for moving in the aisles to his seat and upon landing for his checked wheel chair wait
Refused to leave his seat until his chair had been retrieved and to the gate brought
Flight attendants threatened to have TSA forcibly remove him oblivious to the provisions of the Air Carrier Access Act that must not have been taught
Hats off to this wheel chair bound passenger who knew the law
And refused to move to the shame of Delta whose flight attendant training seems flawed.
