August 29, 2023 Ridley's Believe It Or Not

On the 2024 election front, the power of TV and the hurdles to appear imposed by the RNC became evident as Mayor of Miami Richard Suarez who did not jump over those hurdles and was banned from the first primary debate stage became the first announced Red candidate to withdraw. As a Latino who has railed against Blues for pushing policies that run counter to many Latino’s core values, the candidates still in the race should pedal to the metal to try to get his endorsement. Vivek Ramaswamy at the Iowa State Fair thrilled fairgoers with his rendition of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” which did not thrill the rapper who had BMI send Ramaswamy a “cease and desist” letter, prompting outrage from some conservatives.
On the weather front Tropical Storm Idalia has strengthened to a CAT 1 Hurricane some 275  miles south south west of Tampa at 11 A.M. EDT, moving at 14 miles an hour with an early Wednesday morning  expected landfall as a CAT 3 Hurricane in the Big Bend Area of Florida bringing with it storm surges of 10-15 feet as a King Tide will coincide with its landfall. De Santis has mobilized 3000 Florida National Guardsmen with another 1800 enroute and 30,000 utility workers on positioning to address  power outages as they occur. 21 counties have received evacuation orders, 9 of which are mandatory for low lying portions thereof, the two largest airports in the impacted area are now closed, the planes are being moved from MacDill Air Force Base and the Governor of South Carolina has declared an emergency.
On the Transgenders in sports front, the White House is refusing to take a stand as it claims the issue is “complicated” bowing to the radical left that feel banning biological males who identify as woman must be allowed to compete though their muscle mass size and organ size destroy a level playing field. A solution would be that there is a transgender female and transgender male class which would draw next to zero fans and would be unsustainable.
On the transgenders in education front, the Spreckels Union School District in Monterey County, CA transitioned an 11 year old female student Alicia Konen without informing her mother who when she discovered what was happening, sued the school district. Alicia has since detransitioned back to being a little girl and her mother is the recipient of a $100,000 settlement.
On the Biden lack of empathy front, a House committee heard testimony on the Afghanistan withdrawal which included some Gold Star Parents of the 13 American Military service personnel that were killed at the Kabul Airport by a suicide bomber and they launched into Biden like there was no tomorrow especially at Andrews Airforce Base where the 13 coffins landed and Biden glancing down at his watch as if hoping the ceremony would soon be over.
On the public school education front test scores have been falling across the nation despite the fact that we spend more per pupil than almost any other nation. But news coming out of Oklahoma alerts us to the fact that our school transportation system may be in shambles as a 5 year old was dropped off at the wrong stop and when the mother went to the designated stop no child and a driver who ignored protocol that requires a drive to check backpack or lanyard that matches the name and stop. She was reunited but not before on Tik Tok the boy was caught on camera knocking on a door in 105 degree crying and asking for help to find his mother.
On the Biden bribery scandal front, in response to FOIA lawsuit filed by the Southeastern Legal Foundation against the National Archives and Records Administration (“NARA”), NARA has indicated it possesses 5,000 emails from or to Biden s pseudonym accounts as Vice President--robinware456@gmail.com, JRBWare@gmail.com and Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov (Reds can hardly wait to get their hands on them.
On the hunting front, for individuals hunting for alligators in Mississippi on the Yazoo River with rods and reels hooked a huge male alligator 14’3” long and weighing 803 pounds which took them 7 hours to land on their boat which had to be reasonably large and equipped with a lifting crane.
Definitely a lot of material for belts, purses and shoes:

We are defending our country, our land. We are not attacking anyone because that is immoral.”
