The New York Times since 1896 has had as its slogan “All
the News That’s Fit to Print”
A vow to report the news impartially as opposed to the “Yellow
Journalists” of the day that didn’t
As more and more journalists graduate from elite schools
More versed in advocacy than needed objective truth discerning tools
What once may have been a more class diverse profession has
been taken over by the educated elite
Living in bubbles of like minded elite like Silicon Valley,
Austin and New York City
Rarely to interact with someone with a nonelite degree which evokes scorn and
pity
Viewing themselves as the best and brightest without any
intellectual peers
To them noneducated or non-elite educated as ignorant bigots
and fools appear
|Almost to a person they are quick to with computers or pens
attack Trump and his supporters again and again
Attacking Trump and his supporters never a question of if
but of when
Popping Champaign corks or snorting snow
In anticipation after the indictment where Trump needs to go
David Brooks one of the elitists who works for the New York
Times has just penned an article scathing the elites
Claiming it’s because of our behavior millions of Americans want the White
House Oval Office doors to Trump again greet
Blasts his fellow elites for creating a new social class
based on elite schools education and relegating those not there to the ignorant
untouchable castes
Some of his fellow elites were complimentary of his insight
but others were aghast
Closed with the observation that the behavior of the elites
will cause Trump support to flourish
Waiting to see his sequel of what the elites need to do to no
longer Trumpism nourish
Until then a spade calling a spade
Change logo to “All the news to print by the elite” to end
the objectivity charade
