August 7, 2023 Ridley's Believe It Or Not

Finally one of Biden’s publicized proclivities for ice cream may finally have a positive effect as NYC is considering a law that would require ice cream trucks operating in the city to operate their generators to keep ice cream frozen on solar or batteries which ice cream operators to a scoop indicate it will be impracticable and put them out of business (how about a White House phone call from Biden to weigh in on the idiocy of such a proposal). Fox News  recently disclosed that Eric Schwerin, one of Hunter Biden’s business partners with him in his defunct investment firm that its disclosure that Schwerin had visited the White House and the VP Biden’s private resident at least 26 times had understated the number of visits which now total at least 36 (how could anyone believe Biden’s repeated lies that he had no knowledge of Hunter’s business dealing or had any conversations with him?). Ohio is voting on a measure to amend its Constitution to raise the number of votes needed to amend it from 50% plus 1 to 60% and seeing record turnout (conservatives view the measure necessary to prevent out of state money to influence key issues like abortion and gun control). De Santis may be behind in the polls in the Republican Primaries, but he is not afraid to go into the lion’s den as he submitted to a lengthy interview with NBC’s Dasha Burns sparring with her that the Blues’ support of abortion right up to the moment of birth which she claimed Blues do not support is the equivalent of infanticide and admitting that Trump lost the election while pivoting to the issue that if the 2024 election is about Biden’s failures he will win but if about January 6 or “how many classified documents were found in the toilet” he would lose. In another example of why women are outdistancing men in applying for concealed gun permits, a road rage incident ended in a Raleigh, North Carolina Food Lion parking lot where Steven McLamb the road rager followed his target and tried to enter her car while she was still in it and was fatally shot by her. In addition to the detested reptilian brain in politics there is also the corrupt lactational brain causing politicians to take milk from entities they regulate as Democrat Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley running for governor in Mississippi is alleged to have received the “Mothers’ Milk” funding from green energy companies he regulates in violation of Mississippi law. After being in jail for 340 days, the  last police officer charged in the killing of George Floyd, Tuo Thao was sentenced to 4 years 9 months to run concurrently with the Federal Civil Rights for aiding and abetting the killing. Sadly too often football players in colleges and the pros are infected with reptilian brains but now we learn the condition may also lurk in NFL owner as  Enrique Javier Loya, a Houston Texans minority owner and the co-founder and CEO of OTC Global Holdings LP, was charged with rape and sexual abuse in Kentucky.

Famous Quotes on the Lynne Cox’s Swim to Big Diomede USSR Lynne Cox:“I decided to go that extra half mile, because I felt like if I touch rock, instead of somebody’s hand, what have I done? Nothing! There was no connection with the people on the opposite shore. They were so excited because they realized that for the first time in 48 years the border was open, and they were there to witness it and greet us.
Ronald Reagan, on Signing the Intermediate Range Nuclear Treaty:  “We saw on television how sincere and friendly the meeting was between our people and the Americans when she stepped onto the Soviet shore. She proved by her courage how close to each other our peoples live.”
