On Maui the death toll has risen
to 115 but the number of the dead identified and loved ones notified has risen to
27 and the missing still at 700 with the single story residences and buildings
completely searched and the searching of multi-story structures will now start.
Biden and Jill are on the ground and watching him should make you cringe.
Trying to show empathy and understanding he lacks, he related his oft repeated
and exaggerated story of a lightning strike at his home on a pond that started
a fire that almost cost him his Corvette, his cat and his wife’s life. Total
lie—fire only in the kitchen and put out in less than 20 minutes and never
affected any other rooms (Once again total embellishment lies). The Biden’s are
now back in Lake Tahoe, hiding out in Tom Steyer’s mansion to avoid any press
questions on the growing Hunter Biden scandals and the dereliction of duty by
now special prosecutor Weiss allowing statutes of Hunter’s criminal conduct to
run.
Moving to the gaffe front, Blue
Senator Brian Schultz offered Biden a drink of water after he finished speaking
from prepared text and Biden probably thinking he was a reporter just turned
and shuffled away. While petting a cadaver dog Dexter with boots on his paws to
protect them from broken glass, hot embers and sharp metal said to them “You guys catch the boots out here? That’s a hot ground, man.” While
videos appear to show Biden nodding off during a Maui victims memorial service
higher resolution clips show his eyes are still open. While Maui survivors are
in shelters FEMA officials have hunkered down in $1000 a night luxury resort
rooms.
On the Trump legal front, in the
Mar-a-Lago classified documents case, feds have announced that one of the
defendants believed to be Yuscil Tavares a Mar-a-Lago tech employee, recanted his prior testimony that he had
no recollection and supposedly has implicated Trump or others in attempts to
delete or alter the security tapes footage (If his testimony in anyway alleges
Trump asked him to delete, Trump is in a potential world of obstruction of
justice hurt). The Georgia D.A. is pushing for a trial date of March 6, 2024
which Trump’s lawyers are strenuously objecting to.
On the crime front, Oakland which has
seen violent crime up 14% in 2023 and suffered 4 deadly shootings in the early
morning of Sunday has come up with a solution that sounds somewhat idiotic—have
residents use airhorns when as the next item shows, being armed would be a
better idea. In Dallas Ethan Rodriquez was in his apartment when Alex Contreas
whom he did not recognize knocked on his door to then returned with an
accomplice masked as both tried to kick in the door. Rodriquez picked up his
handgun and started firing through the door 11 times and Contreas fired back
twice to then with his accomplice flee and later to be arrested by Sheriff’s
deputies and now in a Dallas jail on a $150,000 bond. St. Louis has been in the
crime front news as its mayor announced pending city ordinances banning
military style weapons on city streets after the much maligned Soros funded D.A.
Karen Gardiner whose soft on crime approach had caused the State’s AG to
commence proceedings to remove her has resigned.
Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North Of Richmond”
continues to rein in thousands of viewers to the point he is now making $40,000
a day and may have to come out with a sequel “Rich Men South Of Richmond.”
On the animal front a giraffe was
born in Limestone, Tennessee’s in Bright’s Zoo which was not an Earth
shattering event save for the fact that the giraffe was born without spots and
is a solid brown. The zoo is asking for name suggestions on its Facebook page.
Jorge Vilda, Spain’s World Cup
Championship coach, already raising howls for his kissing of one of his strikers
on the awards platform is under more hot water for groping one of his player’s
breast during halftime.

Famous Quote on Comparing Waco with Ruby
Ridge by Clint Eastwood: “At Waco, was there really an urgency to get those
people out of the compound at that particular time? Was the press going to make
it look heroic for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms? At Ruby Ridge,
there was one guy in a cabin at the top of the mountain. Was it necessary for
federal agents to go up there and shoot a 14-year-old in the back and shoot a
woman with a child in her arms? What kind of mentality does that?”
