August 17, 2020 Ridley's Believe It Or Not Baby Boomers Recognition Day

Ridley's Believe It Or Not August 17, 2020

CV World Cases: The CV pandemic across the planet continues with 163,587 new cases (a .75%  increase compared to a 1.12% increase yesterday) to bring the total nearing 22 million to 21,898,339 cases, 6,522,926   of  which  are active, 15,375,413 of which have been closed with 14,601,082 recoveries (94.96% compared to  yesterday’s 94.94%) and 774,331  deaths (5.04% compared to yesterday’s 5.06%) to continue the trend of increased recovery percentages and decreased mortality percentages.
CV USA Cases: New cases of 27,567 with total cases exceeding 5 million at 5,573,142 (a .50% increase compared to yesterday’s .82% increase) with 2,475,788 active cases of which 17,237, on a downward trend with slip blips from over 19,000 in the last 2 weeks (17,198 yesterday), are in serious or critical condition as trend continues to go down, and 3,097,353 closures, 173,186 of which have been deaths (5.59% compared to yesterday’s 5.61%) and 2,924,168 of which have been recoveries (94.41% compared to yesterday’s 94.39%) (our death rate percentages continue to improve and are finally in single digits since Cuomo repealed his order sending CV positive patients on May 10 but remain higher than the world probably due to idiots like Cuomo sending positive CV patients into nursing homes to infect the residents and staff who then die and accounted for some 40% of our deaths. We have now conducted   71,523,892 tests (only  over 563,000 more tests than those done yesterday).
Non CV Case News: Intel Chief Radcliff is warning China is exerting a mayor effort to stop the election of Trump while Pelosi is delusional still stuck in the Russian collision mud and demanding for attention on Russian meddling (when will Senator Feinstein give the Chinese a stern lecture on what being a respectable nation means?); State Attorney already in public scorn for her inane dismissal of thousands of felony cases while Chicago remains a nightly and daily shooting gallery has been thoroughly slammed by a special prosecutor for her mishandling of the Jussie Smollett hoax “attempted lynching” case (Kamala Harris got caught with her hands in the jump to throw the race car jar when she so very quickly called the case a “modern day lynching”); the City of Rocks endured its straight 81st day of rioting with a white pickup truck driver trying to escape a howling mob, crashing, pulled from his vehicle and then beaten and  kicked senseless (when will this lawlessness that has nothing to do with the advancement of equal justice for the blacks end?); the DNC aka the Week with the Corpse and the Chameleon starts virtually today as Trump also campaigning in Minnesota to steal some of its thunder; Biden the Corpse submitted to an interview with that seemingly illiterate “journalistic” rapper Cardi B where he touted his free college for all (might be acceptable if students were actually educated as opposed to indoctrinated and left with sheepskins that represented employable skills or abilities to reason and communicate); Eric Snowden, a traitor living in exile in Russia, has raked in some $1.2 million in speaking fees; the left in Seattle not wanting to be out rioted by City of Rocks to the South rioted last night with 18 arrests and 3 officers injured from thrown explosives, rocks, bricks, bottles and other hard objects.
Chicago/Baltimore Gun Violence: In Chicago as of August 16, 2020, the number of shootings increased by 28 poorly aimed shootings to 2,539, of whom 1 died to raise the total 2  438 (total travesty of BLM when blacks are shot and killed by blacks in droves and only sounds of silence and complete absence of any protests in front of City Hall demanding action to curb the killings and shootings); Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population and hoping against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms of deaths but now seems to be shooting less and killing less and is still 230 behind Chicago now at 208 murders (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which  have  been way  more  deadly and  way  more  numerous  than  shootings  by  police or random mass shootings?).

You need only contact me for details.
   1. National Nonprofit Day—created by Sherita J. Herring in 2017 to honor the contributions of nonprofits to our society and promote awareness of the need to contribute to them; the date is celebrated today as it marks the anniversary of the signing of the Tariff Act of 1894 which imposed an income tax on corporations but exempted nonprofits.
   2. Baby Boomers Recognition Day—celebrating the generation sired between 1946 and 1964 by the Greatest Generation, that endured The Great Depression and won World War II, who are now beginning to retire or trying to retire in droves to place immense stress on Social Security and Medicare and the unfunded liabilities of state public pensions.
   3. 2017 Number One Song— the number 1 song in 2017 on this day on a run of 16 weeks was “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber in Fonsi’s and Yankee’s first number 1 song. Here is a recording of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dr_GAJZviR0 Luis Fonsi is a Puerto Rican singer and actor and Daddy Yankee is a Puerto Rico rapper who aspired to be a player in in MLB but was hit with a stray round from an AK-47 which propelled him into his music career where he is known as “the King of Reggaeton.” The music video linked above has been viewed by over 6 billion people.
   4. Word of the Day—today’s word of the day is “periculous” which means dangerous which describes to a tee what the Corpse’s tax plan for the economy will mean.
   5. Glee Ended with a Plea—celebrating the birthday on this day in 1982 of actor and singer Mark Salling best known for his role as Puck on the series Glee but who sadly was turned in by an ex-girlfriend for possessing child pornography, arrested and ended up entering a guilty plea on September 30, 2017 which was expected to result in a 4 to 7 year sentence, registering as a sex offender and undergoing rehabilitation and facing that he hung himself on January 30, 2018 before his sentencing date on March 7, 2018.
    On this day in:
   a. 1863 in a what goes around moment Union monitors and warships commenced bombarding Confederate Fort Sumpter in Charleston, South Carolina, 2 years and 4 months after Confederates had started the Civil War by opening fire on the fort on April 11, 1861 and continuing to bombard it for 34 straight hours until it surrendered on April 13, 1861.
   b. 1945 Animal Farm was published by George Orwell.
   c. 1969 CAT 5 Hurricane Camille came ashore on the U.S. Gulf Shore, killing some 256 people and causing some $1.42 billion ($10.02 billion today).
   d. 1998 President Bill Clinton appeared on national television to admit that he had previously lied to the American people by admitting that he had had an inappropriate relationship with Monica Lewinsky (wonder as Ghislaine Maxwell opens up to get a lighter sentence whether Bill’s attendance on Epstein’s Lolita Express to Epstein’s private island will necessitate another public apology?).
   e. 2017 22 year old jihadist Younes Abouyaaqoubd ran his van into pedestrians in Barcelona, killing 14 and injuring at least 130 with so many collisions his air bags deployed and his electrical system shut down causing his to flee and escape the scene by stabbing to death a driver and carjacking his car only to be cornered by the police 30 miles away on August 21 and have his one way ticket to Paradise punched by them.
Reflections on the Lewinsky-Clinton Scandal: “When I think of the person that I thought was Bill Clinton, I think he had genuine remorse. When I think of the person that I now see is 100 percent politician, I think he's sorry he got caught.” Monica Lewinsky Sadly, it may look  like in view of the Epstein disclosures that Bill may not have learned a lesson.
