Biden has an invisible bubble to protect him from
probing questions from the press
The slightest move from T-Ball or Softball to even batting practice and he
shows distress
Today it was not Doocy who seems to be the only White House journalist doing
his job
When everyone else is called upon and the most innocuous questions are lobbed
Zeke Miller asked if the 100 million vaccines in 100 days was too low
A higher number might prompt hesitant potential vaccine recipients to grow
Biden’s testy remark “Come on man give me a break”
Looks like thin skin of infallibility this presidency is going to take
After all the gushing of the new myth of truth and transparency wears thin
And stale and repeated attacks on Trump will not higher ratings win
When will the real Biden appear?
The one who only wants praise and adulation to hear?
Or the one we need to face criticism when his acts fail?
To learn from mistakes and keep the nation on the mythical unity trail
Time will tell and we will know how successful his handlers will be
And whether they will block transparency and truth from running free
And whether the gaffes now prevented by a teleprompter will escape
Revealing another Wilson by our aging president being aped
