Time for Some Real Tolerance Especially at Harvard

It clearly seems that in the U.S. the barrel of tolerance has been scrapped for the dregs
Tolerance in the land of free speech that used to free society hallmark
The beacons of free speech have twinkled and one by one of college campuses have gone dark
At Harvard  where most of us believe that free speech there has long since ceased to exist
Students are petitioning school former Trump officials speaking or teaching school must resist
Tolerance which is a soothing trait but its meaning has been distorted
Tolerance is you agree with me and I can agree or can ignore and listening to have aborted
How can you ever unite a country so bitterly divided if one side bans any opposing views
Blacklisted, demeaned, assaulted and attack while only the sounds of silence from leading Blues
A mind that is nourished by only one view that is the one that is always deemed error free and  right
Is a mind that will wither and die no matter how in the past its owner was deemed most bright
Time for some real tolerance and acceptance that your way is not always the right way or only way
Time to end the ad hominem attacks and bring one’s compromising skills to display
