On the
appointment of a new senator to replace the deceased Diane Feinstein, Newsom
has named Emily’s List President Laphonza Butler but Daryl Issa was quick to
point out that to be a California senator she must be a California resident which
she is not as her address is listed as being in Maryland. Fortunately for her,
residency is not a hurdle in any sense of the word but must be done before she
can be sworn in.
On the cosmetic plastic
surgery front, 33 year old Jacky Oh, a star of Wild N Out died from unspecified
complications of gluteal augmentation, commonly known as a “butt lift”, which
she had done on May 30. On May 31 she
complained of a burning headache and having trouble speaking. She became
unresponsive while being driven to a hospital and soon died leaving 3 small
children.
On the Trump legal front Trump’s
civil trial for overstating values in obtaining bank loans is in day 1 with Trump
blasting the judge and the New York AG as political hacks but at least the smirking
judge threw out a huge part of the case as being barred by the statute of
limitations.
On the presidential front look for
an expected announcement by RFK. Jr., who has been frozen out of any debates
with Biden to conceal his mental impairment from the American people, to
announce he will be running as a third party which like Ross Perot did to H.W.
Bush’s race for a second term against Clinton will be a severe nail in Biden’s
reelection coffin.
On the lack of civility
front, in New York when a Blue puts a machete to a reporter’s throat it’s only
threatening as opposed to attempted murder, fired Hunter College Professor Shellyne Rodriguez pled guilty and
has been wrist slapped with a 13 month behavioral modification class.
On the needed good news front, 9
year old Charlotte Sena who went missing this weekend after a bike ride at
Moreau Lake State Park in New York on Saturday evening has been found and a
suspect arrested with no details of her finding and the suspect’s arrest
released.
On the attempt to avoid a
shutdown prevent vote, Blue Rep Jamaal Bowman pulled a lever clearly marked that
it would sound an alarm, claiming he was rushing to the floor to be able to
vote on the CR. Some Reds do not believe his explanation that he did not know what
would happen and want to expel him. Not sure if I believe him but since the Blues
usual vote en masse here in favor probably should give him the benefit of the
doubt and not from Congress vote him out.
On the UAW Strike front look for
more layoffs as the strike continues with estimates that the economy has
already taken a $4 billion hit and Ford warning that if the strike continues some
500,O00 jobs from suppliers will be on the furloughing block.
On the fractured House Reds
governing front, Matt Gaetz has put his money where his threat is and filed a motion
to vacate the Chair which if it succeeds House Speaker McCarthy will no longer
be there. Gaetz is being investigated by the House Ethics committee for a
variety of sexual abuse and campaign finance law crimes and if convicted a
growing number of Reds want to this trouble maker expel—Welcome to the Red’s in
the House governing a total Hell.

Quote on being shot by the Beltway Snipers
by Paul La Ruffa:
“Before I could start the car
or do anything, the window next to me just exploded and shattered glass all
over me with the first shot, deafened my left ear. And the rest of the shots
came in and they all hit me. It was mind boggling. Your world changes in a
split second. So I raised up in the seat after it was quiet and I realized I
was bleeding, so I held my hand over my chest. I opened the door and I got to
my feet and got out and hoped that somebody was there. One of the people I left
with was there — walking towards me — and he dialed 911 on his cellphone. They
took me to the trauma center; I made it there in time and they saved my life.”
