Off Duty Alaska Airlines in Cockpit Jump Seat Tries and Fails to Crash Plane By Turning Off the Engines in Flight

 

When you fly the airline with the Eskimo on the tail
That cut their teeth flying in Alaska where good weather can quickly fail
You feel that Alaska Airline pilots and crew are among the best
First class service and ready to pass any inflight emergency test
No wonder the Alaska Air’s slogan has a favorable response scored
“For the same price, you just get more”
On Alaska Air Flight 2059 from Everett to SFO
Passengers received more of something not apropos
An off duty pilot flying in the cockpit jump seat
Tried to the chance of a safe and uneventful flight defeat
Tried to turn off the engines so the plane could only glide
The well trained pilot and co-pilot restarted so no one died
Subdued Joseph Emerson and forced him to the back of the plane
Diverted to Portland to police Emerson arrest and detain
Not sure what issues Emerson had in his life
What mental, physical or emotional overwhelming strife
Hopefully with Emerson charged with 83 attempted murder counts
We will be able to determine what missed signs of murder suicide plans did in him  mount
