Funding One War in Ukraine; Starting to Fund Another in Israel and Gaza; Can We Fund a Third in Taiwan?

 

In Israel, the first American cargo jet loaded with munitions has touched down
As Israel is preparing to once and for all to eliminate Hamas from Gaza’s towns
Unlike the past no more surgical strikes to some damage achieve
Then bowing to international pressure for a cease fire leave
Urban warfare is costly in terms of troops, equipment and arms
And with Hamas who hides behind civilians a lot of collateral civilian harm
Ukraine already struggling trying to push the Russians out
Must be sweating blood as among politicians cries for cutting back aid mount
For Putin the Hamas attack was like manna from the sky
With Israel needing weapons will the U.S. on Ukraine’s pleas cut back or deny?
China must be licking its lips with Hamas’ deadly action
With U.S. arming 2 wars a Taiwan invasion is a growing attraction
Adding a 3^rd war across the Pacific to open its armory doors
When its own forces’ needs it may be forced to ignore
Is going to mean a very dangerous journey on a tightrope
High in the air with no safety net, is Biden up to the task to cope?
If Biden can chew gum and walk at the same time
He must be urging Saudi Arabia and Israel to move with speed to a treaty sign
Dangerous time in the Middle East
With the dogs of war in a sating feast
And an unknown number of American hostages in tunnels underground
And very hard even with the best of our Seals to rescue alive if and when found
