Sadly it seems that each day there
are more news that the fabric of this nation is being torn asunder adding fuel
to the fires of bigotry and hate
In Houston awash in the waters of a
deadly 1000 year flood, water rising with citizens in chest deep waters, chopper
or boat rescue to anxiously await
A fake news tweet that a Houston
mosque had closed its doors to victims because the Koran prevents helping
infidels
Totally false, likely to inflame
passions and when it comes to finding unity and coming together as one makes that goal a hard sell
A photo of the Inman appeared on this
inflammatory tweet that went viral in a nanosecond
Passed off as real with no fact checking
to be worthy of being reckoned
An Inman photo who has never been in
Texas whose “acts” have condemned his religion
So wrong when we need unity, a false
news with no truth, not even a smidgen
Freedom of speech is one of our
great inalienable rights
Tragic in a 24/7 world when truth
and honesty disappear from sight
