In
World War I the recruiting poster for soldiers was a picture of Uncle Sam
pointing a finger
He
wanted men now and at home as opposed to recruitment stations they could not
linger
Uncle
Sam and his finger were still there in World War II with posters of sailors,
soldiers, airmen and marines to augment
Backed
by women in defense industries producing weapons to aid the troops fighting in
the areas they were sent
Korean
War posters were more generic as our country or ships crossing the oceans had
not been attacked
Vietnam
was a much harder poster sell as quickly the enthusiasm for the war lacked
9/11
was worse that Pearl Harbor and many an American enlisted to fight the terrorist
threat
Low level war with not a lot of casualties by our forces to have met
Low level war with not a lot of casualties by our forces to have met
When
you have troops that are not drafted but have to enlist
The
right advertising with a video makes it harder for the urge to stay home resist
A
suggestion to the Army and the Marines for the perfect advertising poster child
Shannon
Ihrke has been called the world’s sexiest marine
She
would be a draw big time on the recruiting video scene
“Come
with me guys and let’s kick some jihadist ass
Against
us Marines or Army these fools will not long last”
