Amateur
golfers are known to cheat and bend or break the rules
As
they endure the agony of trying to put a small ball into the hole with their
expensive tools
A
mulligan to rehit an out of bounds errant slice or a lost ball found and given
a better lie
Or
to protect and enhance a handicap great scores to not report and straight faced
deny
Pros
are paragons of virtue and honesty and their self transgressions they report
No
wonder it is viewed as a play by the rules sport
Unlike
hockey with gloves dropped and fists in combat raised
Or
football with fights after hits after whistled plays
The
news today in Santa Maria came as a total shock
Tempers
at a mobile home golf course were unlocked
When
the dust cleared 5 golfers including the shooter were dead
Shooter’s
mobile home burning as the fire to others spread
We
know not yet what bets were at stake
Only
that degeneration into shooting is a big mistake
The
cause of the argument is not yet in
But
when guns are involved all lose and no one wins
The
pros are limited to 14 clubs none of which can fire a shot
Sad
that a round of golf means on that day five farms were bought
