Boycott Arby's Not Chick-fil-A?

The news out of Pembroke makes any law abiding citizen want to weep
A growing war on cops who the safety for citizens tries to protect and keep
A cop pulls into an Arby’s in the drive through lane to an order place
Pulls up to the window in her squad car to pay only to meet this disgrace
The Arby’s clerk whose race or immigration status was not revealed
Refused to his order fill because of his uniform and policeman’s shield
This was not a case of a clerk at Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme
Looking out for the health of a cop to prevent donut obesity from gathering steam
This unnamed young worker most lifely stuck at minimum wage
Perhaps fueled by the Black Lives Matter rhetoric rage
Swayed by the lack of condemnation by Obama, not even a trace
Refused service and would not complete the sale
When will common sense and toning down the rhetoric prevail
It seems like only yesterday that restaurants welcomed cops
Nothing like ala Dirty Harry with over sugared coffee to robberies stop
No more with anti police rhetoric coming from our nation’s and cities’ political tops
“Leaders” like Obama and Diblasio have to try to divers communities unite
Not with flaming rhetoric summon violent adherents into the fight
A immediately apologized so boycotts of outraged citizens may not ensue
Unlike Chick-fil-A because of the founder’s private beliefs boycott demands not less but grew
