Bikes Converge As D.A. Refuses To Charge Deputy In Killing Of 65 Year Old Cyclist

When it comes to justice being blind and actions against the cops
Impartiality of the blindfold by the D.A. too quickly seems to drop
No matter what law may be broken, a member of the law seems to have a free ride
Texting to his wife deputy Wood distracted kills a man on a bike enjoying the pleasures of a ride
D.A.s cannot survive to prosecute without the help and assistance of the police
So it is not surprising that any efforts to examine conduct of an officer would cease
A 65 year old man, good for him, biking was hit by deputy Wood and died
As the D.A. rejects prosecution, allegations surface this officer lied
Killing someone by accident is a ball and chain that most normal people will never forget
I am sure that Deputy Woods  knows that no matter how many good deeds he does his guilt will not be offset
Punishing this deputy will not bring Mr. Olin back
But it will provide a warning that texting one’s driving attention will detract
And since it would appear that the deputy is clearly at fault
An impetus to settle before the grieving family breaks the county’s vault.
