Against the Orange Stanford jumped to an early lead that
they held until 3:13 minutes to play
The viewers at Muldoon’s were thinking an upset was coming
their way
But McCord quickly passed the Orange though the Cardinal
that had picked him off twice and registered sack number 4
And with a 15 yard pass the with 3:13 left the Orange would
take the lead 24-23 with a TD and PAT score

On September 28 Stanford travels to Death Valley not in the
California desert
But to 15th ranked Clemson when visiting teams find losses hard to
avert
Clemson destroyed the Wolfpack 59-35 with a strong defense
Coupled with an unstoppable score at will offense
And grabbing its tail to slow its offense down to cause an
upset
May not be a wager on which you would want to bet
But hope of victory stands eternal especially when the
libations and pub fare flow
