The news today from Silicon Valley was a welcome portend
A crack in the dam that Silicon Valley donations to Harris
may be coming to an end
Allison Huynh, a 1999 Stanford grad and successful entrepreneur
Who was captivated to raise millions due to Obama’s allure
Who volunteered to campaign for Harris and attended the DNC
Only to be appalled at what she would see
The party once for the working class
Had moved far away from that pass
To become the party of the elite with empty slogans of “Brat
Summer” and “Joy”
While ordinary Americans due to Bidenomics were struggling to
necessities of life enjoy
She has announced she has her Blue registration shed
To register as a Red and will be voting for Trump instead
As a fellow Stanford grad 30 years before she earned her
degree
This poet was pleased to learn that she from the Blues chose
to flee
At Stanford we learned then “The Winds of Freedom Blow”
Her departure validates the belief that the Reds are where
entrepreneurs should go
Kamala Harris’ plan to raise corporate taxes and tax
unrealized capital gains will Silicon Valley and innovation decimate
The federal government trying to successful venture
capitalists ape
Usually ends up with taxpayers looking for crumbs on the
bankruptcy plate
When it comes to fulfilling the American Dream Huynh is
definitely first rate
Her defection from the Blues could a tidal wave of
defections from Harris create
Hopefully she will campaign for down ballot Reds in our now
thanks to Blues “ Iron Pyrite State”
As a Trustee Emeritus of Stanford I would hope the class of
2025 would select her for speaker at commencement
An unbelievable inspiration to those graduating and why
legal immigration has made and will continue to make America great
