FEMA Seems Driven by the Need to Be DEI Compliant Not Focus on Emergency Management

 

Billions of dollars of damage, millions without power, communities isolated and over 125 and counting American dead
And from Biden’s FEMA we are outraged to raise its destructive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion head
For those unlucky Americans to have had loved one’s die or barely death escaped
Or seen homes and contents washed away or damaged bigtime partially underwater in a flooded landscape
The idea that FEMA’s priority is based on instilling woke
Should make most of them want to throw up as they choke
What does in relief efforts DEI mean--that race determines where the rescuers are first seen
And the best and brightest from FEMA are weaned?
FEMA’s job is respond to emergencies will all speed
Not to before acting the mediocrity DEI bugle calls heed
FEMA despite its edict that DEI is not optional
Touts that it serves all Americans and DEI goals in its work force is not an obstacle
When neighborhoods are triage to see who gets help first
Will FEMA be color blind or be driven by DEI quench victims’ thirst?
