Massive Destruction and Deaths From Helene After Moving Inland and Weakening to a Tropical Storm With Torrential Rains

Large parts of coastal Florida in the Tampa were under mandatory evacuation
Due to a predicted “nonsurvivable” storm surge of 20 feet in elevation
But the real danger we now have learned after Helen moving inland weakened to a tropical storm
Bringing with in torrential rain fall far above the amount needed to exceed flood stage norm
Towns in Georgia, North and South Carolina and Tennessee lying within Helene’s tropical rain path
Were soon underwater in most areas battered by Helene’s torrential rain wrath
Millions without power, hundreds rescued by boats and the death and missing numbers mounting
Too much rain in only a few hours of rain the ground cannot absorb and people start drowning
National Guard pouring into the storm affected states
113 confirmed dead but fears for the rescuers a higher count awaits
Trump concerned over the well-being of those affected by the storm
Is visiting the areas which after natural disasters has always been his norm
No word whether Biden will leave the tranquility of his Delaware beach
Or Harris will find water proof heels to visit and hector survivors what climate change should teach
Fortunately we are a compassionate nation and donations are pouring into the Red Cross
Fox has made a donation and is encouraging its viewers to donate to help victims recover from their losses
