Eric Adams has gained the dubious distinction of the first New
York City Mayor
To by the Feds for alleged bribery, wire fraud and illegal
receipt of campaign funds to snare
For over 10 years after first becoming a Brooklyn’s
president in 1984
Adams is alleged to have taken $123,000 in bribes and $10
million public funds fraudulently obtained with his hands out for more
An extensive Feds’ investigation, searching Gracie Mansion
and seizing his phone
After his indictment surrounded by his supporters he solemnly
intoned
He’s innocent of the charges as a loyal hard working servant
for the people of New York City
Though the Feds investigation was long and thorough far from
being a rush to judgment quickie
He has not yet been arrested but suspect that arrest is near
After arrest and arraignment where to plead not guilty he
will appear
Will he resign or claim the indictment is retribution for
his criticizing Biden’s illegal immigration policies?
That have allowed illegals by the thousands to arrive in New
York to bankrupt its budget while still increasing in quantities
Or hunker down in defiance and waiting for trial to his
innocence try to prove
While sucking down his salary despite the number residents
who will disapprove
If he resigns which he should as he will not be able to govern
effectively
Infamous defund the police Public Advocate Jumaane Williams will be the interim mayor
temporarily
He is innocent
until proven guilty but if found guilty for violation of the public trust the
maximum sentence must be imposed
If only reduced
prison time, house arrest or probation the seeds of public officials corruption
across the nation will be sowed
