The student repayment debt crisis has brought home to roost
Valid questions of whether a college education in many fields provides an
income boost
With the easy money of student loans colleges have been to
hike their tuition and costs higher than the CPI
The pandemic induced slowdown and the creeping Woke like the
Kudzu vines that destroy the ivy the ability of graduates to repay is often
denied
The soaring cost of tuition and the reduced rate of return
on the education received
Have left many graduates angry and feeling rightfully
deceived
To no surprise college enrollment is on a steady pathway
down
Save for the professional and STEM degrees the income is not
worth the costs of wearing a cap and gown
Rooney the noted commentator hit the nail on the head
When he revealed the secret of how to get ahead
Read plenty of books and become a plumber or carpenter instead
Read to acquire skills you will need not arcane knowledge
that after the degree you will shed.
If you thought that falling college enrollment was a was
only a flash in the pan
Be prepared for the effects on employment and income when AI begins to burrow
into most occupations across the land.
