Whales beaching themselves from seismic blasts to find offshore wind turbine
sites
Gas ranges and stoves on the Biden Chopping Block
Wood fired pizza overs extinguished to pizza lovers shock
Diesel power semis that haul much of our goods in and out of
our state
Given the current range of batteries how much more expensive
to move freight?
Autos that burn diesel or gas
In California if new after 2035 sales of the past
Even our most sacred holiday when we sent the English lion
packing
Already battered by the cancel culture warriors pushed to
reduce its backing
The tradition started by George Washington to light the
night sky with fireworks
By many communities on the 4th of July denials of that celebration lurk
Claiming that climate change has increased the risk of wild fire
The real reason or to conceal that patriotism by degrees expires?
Cities like Salt Lake City, Boulder and Lake Tahoe are using
drones to fireworks replace
Multi-colored lights without the booms, smoke and ash
falling from space
Be it fireworks or drones on this day let love for our
freedom set the tone
A nation of cities of lights on hills compared to other
nations almost alone
In the land of the free and home of the brave
Let patriotism thrive and our star spangled banner wave
Honoring those who fought to our freedoms save
Either serving today or who had served or who paid the ultimate sacrifice and rest
in flag marked graves
