On Jill Scott's Racism Everywhere Mind We Not the Land of the Free But Home of the Slaves--What a Crock!

R&B Singer Jill Scott who believes American is an evil systematic racist state
And is considering leaving because of racial tensions which her acts do not abate
At an Essence Festival on alleged systematic racism she changed the National Anthem to berate
The nation that merits no praise only racism that is found on every plate
“Oh say can you see by the blood in the streets / That this place doesn’t smile on you colored child / Whose blood built this land with sweat and their hands / But we’ll die in this place and your memory erased / Oh say, does this truth hold any weight / This is not the land of the free, but the home of the slaves!”
There is far too much blood in the urban city streets
But it is from males of color shooting males of color for death to greet
Men of color are not dying from acts of cops
That Defunding the Police encourages and does not stop
Those victims of color will die in this place
Shot down by colored men pulling triggers to their memories to erase
With a Black president, Black V.P., Black SCOTUS Justices and Black Senators and Reps
The charge it is the home of slaves is time to forget
Those who refuse to the crutch of victimhood adopt
Can and do achieve the American Dream as opposed to victim dependency rot
If America basher Jill Scott wants to leave
Millions would contribute for first class air fare to her dreams achieve
